My Story, Shared For A Reason

Today marks three years since I received a call that changed my life forever. I was driving home from a showing when my radiologist told me I had breast cancer. What followed were two years of surgeries, uncertainty, and a deep emotional journey that pushed me to my limits. Breast cancer does not discriminate. If you have breasts, you can get breast cancer. Early detection saves lives. Encourage your friends, sisters, partners, and loved ones to get screened, regularly. Awareness, advocacy, and action can make all the difference.

A Day in Old City and Why I Love It Here

9:00 AM | Cafe Tolia Coffee and breakfast to start the day. One of those simple moments that reminds me why Old City feels like a village tucked into the heart of the city.

Mid-Morning | Cobblestone Streets & Elfreth’s Alley A slow walk past historic architecture and down the oldest residential street in the country. Living among this much history never gets old.

Lunch | Cafe Ole An easy lunch stop before popping into local shops and galleries. Old City is full of small businesses that give the neighborhood its soul.

Did you know? Another location is opening in Northern Liberties.

Afternoon | Landmarks Don’t forget the US Philadelphia Mint! A reminder that history here isn’t just preserved; it’s lived in, visited, and woven into everyday life.

Coffee Break | Aroma Bakery Afternoon coffee and a quick treat before the pace shifts toward evening.

Evening | Race Street Cafe → Fork Happy hour followed by dinner. Ending the day exactly the way Old City does best: relaxed, walkable, and full of character.

Why This Matters This is what living in Old City looks like. Historic beauty, vibrant street life, and everything you need just steps from home. It’s not just a place to visit, it’s a lifestyle I’m grateful to experience and share with my clients.
